Alternate right answers also suppress cheating and force students to use higher levels of thinking. They must locate enough wrong answers that only one answer is left, the right answer, rather than looking for "the right" answer. Matching questions are limited to five answers but the number of stems is not limited. More than one stem can have the same right answer. There can be more different answers than different stems.
