Proactive System Password Recovery (AWPR) is a program to recover all types of Windows passwords: logon password (when user is logged on and has Admin privileges), screensaver password, .NET Passport password, RAS and dial-up passwords, passwords to shared resources, SYSKEY startup password, passwords stored in cached credentials etc. The program also shows all users and groups (with their properties), allows to run any programs in other user's context, shows password history hashes, reads password hashes from SAM and SYSTEM files, reads Protected Storage records, decrypts Windows scripts, reveal passwords hidden under the asterisks, enables disabled controls, extracts WEP and WPA-PSK encryption keys, runs brute-force and dictionary attacks on PWL files (Windows 9x) and includes intelligent password recovery subsystem. Finally, it shows product ID and CD key for Windows and Microsoft Office installations.
Program system requirements: Win95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP/2003; Pentium CPU; 8 Mb free RAM; about 4 Mb free HDD.
New in this version: New in version 4.1: fixes a problem with empty RAS passwords, adds program password protection, extracts WEP and WPA-PSK encryption keys, and includes intelligent password recovery subsystem.
